‘CREATE THE GATE’ DESIGN COMPETITION
Calling all budding artists! We have launched a competition for you to design the entrance to the Hop Farm Music Festival in Paddock Wood, Kent. The competition is open to everyone and anyone and no past design experience is necessary, even your gran could enter!
‘Create The Gate’ competition will be judged by a stellar panel including festival organiser Vince Power, English playwright and gallery owner Polly Stenham and singer and former Hop Farm act, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine.
The winner will be announced at a private event at The Cob Gallery in Camden, London on 31st May. Their design will be shown alongside a special exhibition curated by Hop Farm Music Festival’s artist in residence Hayden Kays.
The lucky winner will get to see their design realised and used as the official entrance gate for this year’s festival, how exciting! The runner up will have the unique opportunity to design the fronting for one of the festival bars on site.
Prizes;
- 1st Prize will be 6 x weekend camping passes and their design being used for the main archway!
- 2nd Prize will be 4 x weekend camping passes with their design being used on one of the bars.
- 3rd prize will be 2 x weekend camping passes
